Data Deletion Request

Introduction

Digitap Pro respects your right to privacy and data protection. We provide a straightforward process for users to request deletion of their personal data in compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR, and Meta Platform Policies.

What Data Can Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, the following information will be removed:

• Account information (name, email, password)
• Customer contact data (emails, phone numbers)
• Review request history
• Analytics and usage data
• Third-party integration data (Meta, Google, etc.)

What Happens After Your Request

1. Verification: We will verify your identity to ensure the security of your data
2. Processing: Your data will be deleted from our active systems within 72 hours of verification
3. Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete
4. Retention: Some data may be retained for legal or compliance purposes as explained below

Data Retention Exceptions

Certain data may need to be retained for legal, regulatory, or business purposes:

• Transaction records: Retained for tax and accounting purposes for up to 7 years
• Legal disputes: Data related to ongoing legal matters will be retained until resolution
• Fraud prevention: Security-related data may be retained for up to 2 years
• Backup systems: Data in backup systems may take up to 90 days for permanent deletion

Meta/Facebook Data

If you've connected your Digitap Pro account with Meta/Facebook services:

• Data shared through Meta's platform may be stored on their systems
• You may need to contact Meta directly to request deletion of data stored in their systems

Third-Party Services

Digitap Pro integrates with various third-party services. Please note:

• Google Analytics: Analytics data is anonymized and automatically deleted after 26 months
• Payment processors: Financial data is handled securely and subject to their retention policies
• SMS providers: Message logs may be retained by service providers according to their policies
• Social platforms: Data on integrated platforms may require separate deletion requests

Your Rights Under GDPR

In addition to data deletion, you have the following rights:

• Right to be forgotten (Article 17): Request deletion of your personal data
• Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
