Embed Google reviews on Wix

Before you start

The real code (with your widget ID and key) comes from Digitap Pro when you click "Add to website". The snippets below use placeholders only.

Add the site's domain (or the free address like yourname.wixsite.com) to Domain Whitelist. For Wix's Embed HTML element no extra domain is needed: Digitap Pro recognises the Wix frame of an allowed domain.

Only HTTPS code is shown by Wix. Digitap Pro code is HTTPS.

Inside a page (Grid, Carousel, List, Masonry)

1. Open Embed HTML. In the Wix Editor click "Add Elements" → "Embed Code" → "Popular Embeds" → "Embed HTML".
2. Paste and apply. Click "Enter Code", paste under "Add your code here", then "Apply".
3. Resize and publish. The element is a frame with a fixed size. Drag its handles until the whole widget fits. Publish the site.

On every page (Badge, Flash)

1. Open Custom Code. In the site's dashboard go to "Settings" → "Custom Code" (in "Development & integrations") → "+ Add Custom Code".
2. Paste in Body end. Paste the code, choose "All pages", place it in "Body - end", click "Apply". Custom code needs a published site with a connected domain.

Troubleshooting

• The site's domain is missing from the Domain Whitelist in Digitap Pro. Adding example.com also covers www.example.com.
• Your platform plan does not allow scripts (WordPress.com, Squarespace, Webflow: see the plan notes on each guide).
• You are looking at the editor or a preview, not the published site. Check in a private window.
• A cache or optimisation plugin serves an old copy of the page. Clear it and reload.
• The site sends a Content-Security-Policy that blocks https://app.digitap.pro.
